Romans 8:35-37

"God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Rom 5:8

"CHRIST DIED FOR US" - why did God have to send His Son to do that? Sin is the one and only cause and reason. Jesus had to be the perfect and acceptable sacrifice to God and His death on the Cross is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:10) and way to eternal life (John 11:25-26,14:6).

Sin speaks even more today to a world that is content with the state of things and does not want to abide by God's righteous standards and holiness (1 John 3:4). The trajectory of the world is unavoidable and it will lead to a dramatic confrontation with Christ in the End Times in a three and half year period called the Great Tribulation which occurs at the mid-point of a 7 year Tribulatiion. This is known as "the time of Jacob's trouble" (Jer 30:7, Matt 24:15) or Daniel's 70th week (Dan 9:24-27).

Why does God hate Sin so much?

1. It has caused the separation of man from God (Rom 3:23). God first made everything good in Adam and Eve but Sin entered the world when they disobeyed God. This corrupted mankind and the earth. As a result, man now detests God's law (Ps 107:11) which is provided to guard man's spiritual well-being and life.

2. It is the cause of every relational problem between God and man, man and man, and man within himself (Rom 1:21).

3. It is the source of evil, wickedness, hatred, pride, unforgiveness, pain, sorrow and all that is the antithesis of God. Sin is firmly embedded in the flesh (Gal 5:17) and as much as God does not want anyone to perish in his sin but come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), God's holiness and righteousness (Ps 5:4) demands righteous justice (Ps 9:7-8).

4. God hates Sin and that is why there will be a cut-off date for the current Church Age where God offers salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph 2:8-9, Acts 4:12). The Tribulation and the Great Tribulation will be a time unlike any in the history of mankind (Matt 24:21-22, Mark 13:19-20). This End Times event is necessary for Israel's redemption and for judgment of a God-rejecting world through Christ Jesus (John 3:19), leading up to Christ's Second Coming and the setting up on earth of His 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom reign from modern day Jerusalem over a regenerated world.

Tribulation Timeline is a Help Tool with a Biblical perspective to help us better recognize End Times Prophetic Signposts and to better understand the Rapture of the true Church, the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation, Jesus' Second Coming and the glorious New Heaven and New Earth future that awaits faithful believers of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

This site is designed for any person with an interest in Bible Prophecy in the Last Days, particularly for Christians who subscribe to a Premillennial position regarding Eschatology.

Here you will find Topics that chronologize Bible prophecy. Each Topic has a clickable 'Timeline'. This is a downloadable spreadsheet with pertinent verses that are matched together to form a clearer and complete narrative. The Old Testament and New Testament is our primary go-to source and resource for Truth. God has given us the Holy Bible which is His Spirit inspired Word (2 Tim 3:16) with the many revelations and mysteries. Prophets and righteous men of old had greatly desired to know and understand but were unable to (Matt 13:16-17) because the whole Scripture was not available then but to our benefit, we now have God's complete Word.

Tribulation Timeline focuses on Biblical verses to urge us to hear the Lord speak directly from Scripture regarding the Last Days.

The Bible is God's innerant narrative and we strongly encourage readers to hear directly what the Lord is saying in His Word. Jesus warns of many false teachers and prophets in the End Times who will mislead and declare 'positive' prophecies that appeal to itching ears (2 Tim 4:3-4). Such falsehoods will attempt to mislead Christians away from the truth and lose focus on the important things of God in the days to come.

2 Peter 1:20 says that "no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." This is very instructive about Bible prophecy interpretation. Self-appointed 'apostles' and 'prophets' claim to constantly receive new revelations from God whereas the Bible teaches that the Word is complete (Prov 30:5-6) and all understanding and revelation is found therein.

In 1 Cor 2:9-14, God has given us spiritual discernment to know the things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit and freely made known. All that we need to know, we have already received in Scripture.

We welcome you to Tribulation Timeline and may you be blessed with Prov 2:6 as you journey with us in the Lord's Word. Shalom in His Name.
